I love this pattern and would or am thinking of joining. I am in Australia right now and do not get home until May 3. Do you think that is enough time for me to make 12 squares up by June 1??????? When I get home I will try it and let you all know. Yep I am a newbie to this. LOL. the more I see the more I like. Oh wait I just checked the rules and I have to let you know before June 1 and get them finished by June 30th. Hmmmmmmmm even more tempting.

Barb, Once you make one you'll see how easy is and fun!!!

Barb, not to discourage you, but please check the cost of postage to the US and the return. I would love to have you participate but don't want it to be cost prohibitive for you. I had a swapper from Japan, and she sent me the $$ in Yen. since I had no way of exchanging it (went to several banks and such) I was out $26 for 12 blocks. Oh duh....just re-read your post, you are there now and will be home - Disneyland - later. Sorry.....YES, please join, you will have time as these blocks do go together rather quickly.

I can get three blocks sets into one padded FRE. You can make as many as you want - but more than three will require another FRE $5.30 stamp and address label. (My, she is really, really hooked)

I hear what you are saying! I have several gardens to take care of as well as getting the vegetable one done. 18 walker bags to finish before May 6, the Cinco de Mayo wallhanging to be done by Monday. But sometimes I just have to indulge with the creativity and start something else!

I am only in Australia until May 2 when I return to the USA> So I will be stateside and postage is indeed much less money mailing withing the USA. I live in CA so won't be a problem. But thank you for being kind to warn me about out of county postage.
Barb PS Deb.....I guess I should have read the rest of your post too. LOL. Being close to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm ....they both have exhange money places. I walk over to Knott's to exchange my Australian dollars back to US currency. But it would be a hugh handicap for anyone who does not have that close by. I did mail my exchanges for this last month for one of the other sites and it cost me $87 dollars. I don't know how the ladies do it who live down here....God bless them.

Barb, maybe I should send you my Yen in the swap envelope and have you exchange it for me!
