My partner (Irene C.)received her mug rug and a couple of fat quarters from me yesterday. She said she liked it so that makes me happy.

Unfortunately, her camera isn't working, and for the first time I did not get a picture.
My husband was going to take the picture, but was on his way out the door to the pharmacy when I gave him my package.

I made one using the green and white with a very simple irish chain, but the way I did it, it turned out almost looking like a reversible one, because on the other side I sewed on a couple of shamrocks with stitching around it.

Irene C. has been a wonderful swap partner.

Green with cream or white is so fresh and pretty as we are seeing. Looking forward to seeing more of them.

I returned from a challenge fabric shopping spree yesterday and stopped by the post office to find a parcel box key in my mail box. I immediately knew it was my mug rug. After I carried in the groceries I picked up, I opened my package. My mug rug is so beautiful, I am not sure I want to risk getting coffee or tea stains on it. Perhaps I will change its name to crystal rug and use it for my white wine. Unfortunately, I cannot post a photo. Melanie, I love the shamrock fabric and the embroidered mug; the FQ is like nothing I have. Thank you for your lovely work and thoughtfulness.

I am sorry for our problems getting this done. :D Hubby just laughed and said, our ongoing saga. :p Then he said, "well, we have both been sick." :o

I have received 2 mug rugs from my partner Dharen7 along with some orange fabric and shamrock socks that are so cute! Thank you so much Dharen!! Love it all!!
