ConnieF...yes, any size divisable by 3...plus the seam allowance...and yes...you have until 15 March to commit, then mail no later than 1 April.

Ya'll, I'm still thinking about a new swap...but we have plenty of time. There are tons of swaps on the board and I know Patrice likes to spread them out..so some probably need to close before we add a ton of new ones. I like them kinda spread out, that lets me have more time to play in more of them.

Sandpat- of course! I wouldn't dream of starting a new one now. How else could I devote myself to the brood of chickens and ignoring my sheep?! Lol.

Oops, forgot to say BRT....any size FG you want to send will be just fine. These puzzles are going to be fun to put together, but we will need some fillers for those "left-over" holes. LOL!

   Those sheep still being BAAAAADDD????  To tell you the truth, thats how I felt about my cows...UGH..was I ever glad when I finished them!

I agree about sets of 12! The first 6 are fun, then the next 3 are ok then that last set of 3 is so boring!
If I hadn't spent so much time looking at chickens I would have been done with them! Today is the day.
I'm not even in this swap yet and I have already found about 14 chickens I have the fabric for and would love to make!
If I get in there will be at least 3 pieced blocks and the rest applique.
I won't be doing 14 sets I promise!
It really depends on how well the boomerang blocks go when I start them. I know the deadline isn't until April but some are done with them or almost done and I haven't started.
I love to look here and see all these great creations and ideas.
Keep up the great work ladies.

:-D

Thats kinda been my experience too Susie...6 are fun....then for me...it goes down hill. I like it when I can choose how many sets I would like to make also.

OH! You sound like us...it would be easier to and cheaper to rebuild than to remodel!! although it has been 4 years!! LOL!

I really like the idea of doing kitchen blocks, cupcakes...oh it all sounds like great FUN!!!

Would it aproblem to anyone if I did a flannel chicken? I found a real neat pattern done in flannel.

Karen, thats a pretty cool chicken strip! I haven't seen anything like that before.

On the flannel though...can you do it in a cotton fab? It would be the only flannel block in the swap and might be a little harder to place in the whole quilt.

I am thinking of putting a shear material between the red and the dark blue
