Hey Moosegirl, hope you don't mind, but I get a crick in my neck so turned the pic for you. It's great.

Has anyone ever done a cat swap? No, I'm not going to start it. I will keep an eye out if it does happen. :-) :D |

Karen from Purdy, MO
I have been reading about the chicken blocks... so very interesting.. I noticed that you have a new machine. You will love your embroidery machine. I have two that I have had for several years. if I join this swap I will be embroidering my chickens. Oh, yes, I wanted to tell you that I live fairly close to you. I go through Purdy in the summer going to Table Rock Lake. I grew up on a farm near Eagle Rock. Nice to see someone that is close to home. |
Allene, this is a swap from last year, however there is a brand NEW Funky Chicken Block Swap started with a mail date of March 31, 2011.... you will find it in the swaps section here on the board. If you have trouble, post back on this thread and I'll provide you a link to it. Come on and join the FUN!!

Thanks so much, I am brand new to this, but love reading about everyone and what they are doing.

Ok, I'm in the middle of sewing down my applique. This is my first one I've ever done. I chose a stitch that is like a V with lines on each side.
Any guidelines with this? Do you match the thread with the colors? Or one thread for the whole thing? I realize that it's a style thing - but what do most do? |
Are you meaning to post this on the Funky Chicken Block Swap II? This one ended last spring but I believe there is a new one currently going on . . . .
