I think Hershey kisses would be wonderful - I lived in the US for 4 years and really miss them :D

Did you PM Carsey to join? With the flurry of new people, perhaps she accidently missed adding you.

Oh my goodness!! This has really grown!! I am sooo excited about it! I dont care where the fabric is made... it's who sends it to us that counts! :):):) That's what makes it international :):):) This is going to be sooo much fun!!! And the signature blocks will really add the personal touch from all of us!
Thank you sooo much Carsey for hosting this!!

I too can't wait to start buying...Right now stuck until after Labor Day with allot of co. and unable to go shopping but I've been searching the web for diff fabrics that represent diff places in NY and RI...I have two homes and split my time between...Found some really great ones...
I actually have 8 yds of retro fabric made in the USA back in the 50's...My FIL worked for JP Stevens which was a textile manufacturer down south and I happened on this piece last yr in an Antique shop...Had to have it...Might cut up a few fat qtrs for the swap..

Hobbycat, I'm from RI and can't wait to see what fabric you found. Most of the mills moved from RI to down south due to on of the taxes RI had to pay for disability insurance. It was such a shame they left. I used to go to a yarn manufacturer called Melina the prices were so cheap compared to the stores. Those were the days. Lorraine Mills had fabric as did another and you could get yarns of it for next to nothing. I used to sew all my kids clothes it saved us a lot. Enjoy RI I'm to far away to stop over and enjoy. Sue
