I agree with all your comments on Paula's beautiful quilt. The composition is perfect. Like Sumi-e, it is the simplicity of the lines that captures the heart and soul of the image and you have nailed it.

Beautiful quilt Virginia, looks a lot like the Oregon hills, before the were logged off. What a lucky recipient.
