Received the name for the table runner. I'll add a few goodies and hopefully mail tomorrow.

I got my partners name too. Going to try for tomorrows mail also.

This is the first time I've put a label on anything I have made; I usually try to make quilts etc in such a way that the back can be used an alternate, so what do you do with the labels then?

Hmmm .... I kind of like option 1, 2 & 6! But I'm game for anything! I'm hoping the next runner swap will keep me on track and committed to getting the project done, as I'm having a knee replacement May 8th. Might have to rig my sewing machine up in front of the couch! lol

I,m not sure what you mean in options 4,5 & 7 but option 1 looks good to me.

Ok my spring runner is rolled up in a ball, sealed tight & in the mail! Just got home from post office, and there on the tabl, is the notecard that was supposed to be inside! Grrrr! That's the 2nd time I've done that! Silver moment! Lol so, to my swap buddy, my message says:" hope you enjoy this! Had fun making it!".

I like 1-5-7. What about something old time from when things were simpler or before cellphones and such. Maybe 1950's or sometime earlier. I was a child of the 1950's and things were way different and easier. Maybe pick some color combos and themes from then. Just another idea. There are some fun fabrics from then out there.

I'm game for anything, all of them sound great! Mailed my runner today and it should be delivered Wednesday they say???? Sent my PM to Carolyn. We're getting the house here in Florida ready to shut down for the summer, one last fishing trip on Wednesday and then head home to Wyoming on Friday. Don't look forward to that 3 day drive, my backside hates to sit that long:)

Mailed my runner off this am. This way I won't forget and be a last minute person. Maybe she will get it before anyone else. It does have a ways to go so maybe a good thing I mailed already.

I mailed mine off at 9 am this morning and I have tracking.

No I havent got tracking. I asked for tracking but the new lady at the PO showed me the ID No to track the parcel but she should have sent it on a higher rate.So its going economy which may be air or sea which means it could be a Loooong time getting there. Lucky I made 2. I will post the other one off as soon as I can.

I really don't have a preference for a theme for the next swap. Since I am on a fabric moratorium, my participating will depend on whether I have the fabric or not. With over 1200 yards of the stuff, I should have something that will match whatever is chosen.

No need to send a second one! Your swap partner will understand I'm sure! I didn't get tracking either - would have been almost $60 to send! yikes!

they are both wonderful. I love making all those blocks they are made from, the SIAS , HSTs and 4P.

I have mailed my runner finally. There was some trouble with the packaging and I had to go back to the PO twice till it was right. The waiting game begins.

Some arrive so fast, wow.

I received a wonderful runner and special little gifts from Oksewnsew. I fell in love with the fabric when I first saw it earlier in the swap. I have always wanted to make this pattern and now I don't have too!:D Well I still want to even more now. What is it called, I forget?

I mailed my runner yesterday. Supposed to take 3 days, so be on the lookout! I will be late in posting the receipt of the runner I receive as I am travelling to our Colorado home next week so I had it sent there, for fear it would not arrive to my Texas home in time!

Oksewnsew that runner is just soooo beautiful. Someone mentioned triangle frenzies (which I'd never heard of) so I googled it and found that pattern & more. I have ordered some suitable fabric and will give it a go. Have we decided on a theme yet?

beautiful runners! I love making the triangle frenzy pattern too - sometimes hard to find the "just right" border fabric. But what the heck, always a good reason to check out what's new in fabric store! :)

My package says delivered Wednesday April 5, but she has not said she got it. I am concerned now.

I would first like to apologize for for not mailing my runner out yet. I have had it made and ready for 2 months at least. Been having bad dizzy spells for about 5 days and not able to drive to P.O. . I am gonna try tomorrow to mail it. Hope my partner is patient with me. Second. I received such a very cute runner today from Kim ( love them greys) It is so spring/summer looking. I got out the camera and took one picture and the batteries died. So they are charging. there is an actual pattern for the triangle frenzy. I've made 3 of them now & I still use the cutting instructions carefully each time! I bought my pattern in my LQS; but try googling free patterns for triangle frenzy; it's really the cutting/positioning that is key to the success of the pattern. Good luck!
