Jaba what a beautiful runner you received. So colorful and I love those extra FQ's. Ok I tried to take a better photo of the runner I received yesterday It shows the extra goodies too. I hope it showds the little buttons in the centers of the flowers. Also the little blue circles are buttons to . They look like wild flowers growing on a stalk;). She did such a wonderful job I just wanted you all to it.

More great runners and so very "spring" love them both
that is so cool! what is the pattern called for this?
Beautiful spring runner!
It's like Christmas at your house jaba. All the flowers in the swirl are wonderful. And the purples are fun too. I love paisley.

lawsonmugs, Adorable spring flowers on this one.

My runner partner has not been on here either. Hope she is ok. Plus, I have not received mine either. Maybe her and I were partners and did not even know it (mail to each other from the random drawing of names). We shall see.
mary, i love your runner, so pretty. can someone do a tute on that little pod? i just love it!
Hi Lynnie, Kim said it is Sweet Pea Pods by lazy girl. She also said it was easy to make. It is diamond shaped kinda like a deflated football. Really is cute. I think my partner will receive her runner tomorrow.

Hi Guys,
Just a little reminder.... when you receive your runner can you please thank the person that sent it to you, either here on the thread or with a PM. If you cannot post pictures please let me know and I will ask your partner to post a picture for you! There are some lovely runners coming in ladies.... you are such a talented bunch! Hugs Caroline |
The spiral runner made by belfrybat is just gorgeous!
Lawsonmugs, WHO made your runner? It's cute too. eta: never mind! I backed up a few pages and read that it was made by lovethemgreys. |

There was nice weather today, perfect for
first fire and baby tadpoles. The warm and freezing weather damaged most of the frog eggs but we still have a few. This is about a tenth of what we usually have in the pond and I am glad to have them. Enjoy the warm weather peace |
Ube I love your photo...looks like a beautiful winters day where I live (take out the trees) and last night was the first in ages that our Frog was making his bonking noise.
Lovely table runner that Lawsonmugs made. Nice and springy.

I am the new proud owner of a fabulous table runner made by M-Fay. The embroidered panel is so detailed and I love the addition of the ladybird. In England, where I'm from, having a ladybird in the house is considered good luck, so I will now permanently have good luck!
Thank you Marion, for such a lovely gift. I will treasure it. |

Hmm. For some reason the site won't allow me to post two pics on one thread. Here's a closeup of the center panel. The ladies are crocheted whereas the remainder is hand embroidered. The ladybird is a button. I love all aspects of this runner.

I forgot all the other goodies she sent. A small panel, fabric, brochure about W. Australia, a CD with wildflowers of W. Australia, and a scissor holder/needle case. I've never seen a scissor/ needle case made like this one. Really nifty! Oh, and a little koala bear I've had to rescue from the cat twice!

Belfrybat that is one very pretty runner. I love the crocheting with the embroidery. Reminds me of pillow cases my mama made when I was young. They had the colonial ladies with the pretty crocheted dresses. Cute extras too.
m-fay did a wonderful job on this one. The additions are adorable. What a great idea to add the pictures and brochure. I just might have to borrow this idea.
Hi Guys,
I don't know why when I posted a hyperlink was created.... but here is the correct link to the thread for April to June's swap.. http://www.quiltingboard.com/member-...p-t287493.html Hugs Caroline |
Wow, that is beautiful. Belfry it was made for you for sure!
I'm so glad it arrived OK and that you like it Belfrybat. I copied the needle case from one I received a couple of years ago from my secret santa. I use it all the time. I'm still waiting....
Good things come to those who wait.:D
beautiful runner m-fay!
And to add to the wonderfulness of the runner, all the handiwork was done by M-Fay, including the crocheted ladies. That is a lot of work. I first through she had found a vintage linen and embellished it. But nope -- all done by her. So a double thanks to you, M-Fay.

oh my! oh my! I have just received a gorgeous runner from Caroline! And a bunch of goodies too! I took this picture before I broke open the bag of Easter eggs! Told husband he can't have any 'cause he's diabetic - have to hide them just in case! This patterns is on my "to do" list to try - is it cathedral windows or a version of? I haven't been brave enough to tackle it yet! Thanks so much! Beautiful colours that my ipad doesn't capture well!
Oh My! is right. That is gorgeous and in my favorite colors too! What a lucky lady you are!!
Gorgeous runner sue I haven't done a cathedral one yet either. I'm trying one called spinning wheel in a magazine for the next runner, but I may do more....ideas keep popping in my head......and I'm just so glad you liked the runner belfry bat . It was lovely doing the fancy work on the linen but I was worried the rest might be too plain
Another beautiful runner. Perfect fabrics. I like the use of the CWs as the focal point without being the entire piece. A great idea for using them.
Beautiful runner, Caroline. I too love the fact that you scattered the cathedral windows instead of putting one in each block. Really classy.
Can someone tell us the name of the pattern? That's so pretty.
The center curved blocks are called Cathedral Windows so google that and you will see some gorgeous quilts. Caroline did an original layout of her blocks which really stands out on this pretty runner.
Thanks Ube, I knew it was cathedral windows. I thought maybe it was a layout that was a certain pattern. It's just so pretty.
