Love the bargello flag, very creative. We have a lady in our guild that makes bargello flag quilts, and wall hangings for the veterans here in Oregon she does a wonderful job and the veterans just love them.

I received a darling red, white, blue DQ from CraftyMaineMom! She also sent coordinating fabrics. You wouldn't believe the little box she had it in!!! I'm hoping she has a picture she can post so you can see it. If not, I'll get my daughter to help me post a picture over the weekend. It's simply adorable!

And no, the flag isn't hand quilted - I've never learned how to do that. The stars are just freehand on my machine.

Here is the quilt I got from Lucylockett. I love it. I forgot to take a picture of the quilt I sent her or I would have posted a picture of that one. We both went with the red white and blue theme. Yeah! How did she know that I love I spy fabric? Spiderman frogs how funny? And she included a really interesting scrap pattern. Thank You

I love blue and yellow, lets quilt, and this is a great one. I can't tell, did you do a decorative stitch on the white fabric or is this a narrow border. Very striking either way.

Just admiring all the lovely swaps here and I sent mine out yesterday but i def need a quilting class tutorial...will be checking into one this week at an local elementary school for 1 nite a week...sigh..maybe i'll get better! All pinned up perfectly & then started sewing the binding and it gets puffed here & there ! UGh, hopes she likes it anyway.

I recieved my DQ from STAR, is she not a beauty? too cute! Plus all the extras I was not expecting. Here is the DQ I send STAR, red, white, blue checkered board. Can be used also to play checkers when she needs a break from her busy schedule. Thanks STAR enjoyed being your partner for my first DQ.

I have to ask since I don't know - is this paper piecing? If so, how hard is it for someone who hasn't done it before - it is simply amazing and just my color palette too - is there a pattern - I love it!
