Yes these are great quilts--again! Finally got my June quilt in the mail and now to work on the July quilt!

I think it's sort of like a fracture, but I just winged it from a picture I saw, and I know I didn't get the whole thing right. But we learn with every new thing we try.....next time I'll do this differently, but it came out cute anyway!! I'm so happy Chele likes it.

The last few quilts are just so pretty. Amazing how they just keep getting better and better every month. Can't wait to see what amazing quilters we are in a few months!! :lol: :lol: :wink: :thumbup:

Yay!!! So here is the little quilt that Chele sent me!! It is so sweet. She tells me she loves scrappy quilts, and this one is just great!! She also sent a couple of pieces of fabric, and a very sweet card.

They are also having a all day ..fun day Aug. 19 with lunch, i think for 15$. We need to plan a "quilters retreat"...they have one place close to Beaumont..nice place and big for bunch of quilters!! Can't remember the name, will have to check into it.

Ohhhhhhhhh, and I too would love a book by Jennifer Chiaverini! I have only found one by her to read, The New Year's Quilt... and it was very good!

Got the top finished for laparshall tonight--yipee. Had to get kwiltkrazy's June quilt in the mail today first. Lucinda it should be there by Thursday according to postal worker.

Oksewglad: Yikes! I am just finishing my June quilt for Lisa773. Almost done. I will mail this week. And then I will turn my attention to yours, oh wait, I am working on my Round Robin center block it is due 7/26. I will work on both this week and next. No pressure!!! If only I didn't have this pesky full-time job that takes up so much of my time.

the top i decided on was the 5th attempt... i am actually proud of the top :D.. the hand quilting is turning out (ehhh, at half done)... and im debating on taking the binding off to redo it lol
finally figured out what to do about a label today lol.. first time ive needed one lol

Played all today, making letsquilt's DQ, having a ball. Lot of happy accidents. lol.

I only said I had the topdone--need to quilt it--hope you don't mind that it's not hand quilted (have trouble with arthritis in the hands)--then to get the binding on. So believe me there's no pressure here! Oh and the 13th was DIL BD and I have bindings to sew on her 2 little quilts and get those in the mail. Good things come to those who wait!! G

Oksewglad: I do not mind it not being hand quilted. I would love to do hand quilting also, but I have the same problem with my hands. I sure don't mind waiting, especially if it is going to be good! Linda
