:) awww ghee ... well thanks for the kind words. I found the pattern in a book of small quilt/wallhangings and made just the one and added borders. And if that is what one would like for August.. let me know!

Wow, I am just looking back over the pages and seeing so many unique doll quilts, many patriotic in color and others of different colors and ideas! I love all of them. I would take one of each that have been made over the past 4 months I have been participating! :)

YEA!!!!! I sent out my little July doll quilt to LastGrandma today. Now I'm ready to play in August!!!! Can't wait for my little quilt from LastGrandma to get here. She'll get hers on Fri. or sat.

Oh! That is the cutest little quilt. Reminds me of a quilt I saw a few days ago made of neck ties in the same pattern & all hand stitched. And the colors u chose r so pretty together.

LastGrandma and I both got our doll quilts from each other today. The one she made for me is of darling little bow ties!!! I don't know how she could make them so perfect and with such small pieces of fabric!!!! The little quilt she sent me is just great!!! You'll all agree when she posts the pictures of both of our little quilts!!!

Well, we quilted and swapped already! I was paired with Janis in IN, so we both mailed ours to each other on Monday and Tuesday.
I received a beautiful red and blue pinwheel on dazzling white with a wonderful binding! Janis said it was her first pinwheel and I have named the little quilt "Perfect Pinwheel" because it it! I sent Janis a Patriotic Bow Tie Doll Quilt. It was an adaptation of an antique Doll Quilt from a magazine I saw. And Janis loves it! Thanks for looking! Those are both absolutely gorgeous. I really like the bow tie one, I haven't seem them put together with a sashing and I like that. Great jobs to both of you!!!!
