Pinch me, I think I've died and went to Heaven! Look at the beautiful DQ I received in the mail today from tildiemae, it is absolutely stunning and the hand quilting leaves me speechless! Aside from the beauty of the DQ, I also was given DQ patterns, self-threading needles and holder, fabulous tractor fat quarter (how perfect!) and a wonderful new friend! I am just amazed at the talent of the ladies that participate in this swap. Every month I learn something new. I will post the pics so you all can enjoy and then I have to go wash up. I believe Marilyn our P.O. clerk was holding on to my DQ as for the last two days I have tried to "collect" my squishie and the office has been closed(two hour lunches.....really?)so I went to the P.O. in barn clothes, ready to scrap it out!!! Happily I did not have to, next to the vet the postmistress is pretty powerful in our little town. lol Hope these pics turn out, my program is being a stinker this am...

Received my quilt from Quilty-Louise last night. Just now getting to report. Went to bed at 7:00pm and did not get up til this AM. This cold definitely got a kick of rest so can leave my body!. Here is a photo. So cute. The border has a kite string stitch in it, hopefully you can see it, only have camera phone. Then she gave me all these goodies. So unnecessary for the goodies, but love them. So needed a white thread and I love Essentials. Thank you Quilty-Louise!
