This transplanted northerner will testify that collards cooked in chicken broth work miracles! I'd bet sewbiz is right about the other greens as well. Yum!

Sorry I went all "Mama" on you! I really do swear by those greens for getting over colds quicker. They are great to eat regularly if you are a person who gets sick often.
Turnips are similar but a bit more delicate texture and flavor. Collards will boost the immune system too. |
Libster ouch just thinking of your tummy. Imagine it can't be to comfy to sit and sew.

Been working on the March blocks. Thought I had it all figured out but if I continue the way I was going Ill be 5 blocks short. Looked everywhere in my stash but only found 1 5" square of the main fabric..darn.. Ill go back to the drawing board. It sure is going to be pretty and bright when I get it done! Thanks everyone!!

Love it, Joan! The center medallion is fabulous. Hope you can find some more of your fabric.

Joan, I will look tomorrow, I think I have this fabric. Will let you know

Thank you so much Jaba...Ive written Connecting threads but its been a week and they haven't answered. All I would need is 1/2 a yard or so to make the 5 blocks... If I don't find it Ill just have to rethink the borders!!

I have scoured my fabric and I can't find it. If I had some it's gone, so sorry. I'd try contacting them again, you never know someone may have been on vacation. That happened to me over a pattern that I couldn't get it to print and they sent me a copy of it....

darn the luck... :) Thanks for looking. Ill try to email them again. Ive tried EBay, pinetrist, Amazon, Esty and cant find it. I can improvise with what I have but kick myself for not ordering more of the blue and purple they had. Thanks
