:D when you find the name of the disease or syndrome Let me know. It will almost be a relief to put a name to mine!!

Guys, do y'all mean dyslexia? My son has that. He writes his words in the wrong order and his numbers are all mixed up. If that's it, there is help for it.

terriamn 02-03-2017 04:29 PM

Libster I have no problem with numbers but sometimes I have to have dh lay out my pieces for me. I really can't make sense of them, besides the times I just plain sew them wrong.

It affects different people in different ways, Terri. It might be worth it to mention it to your doctor at your next check-up. My son writes his words backward sometimes. His condition was not caught until he went to work with the police department. They caught it in his written reports. He was a canine officer for 11 years. He previously served seven years in the military and they never caught it.

Terri, I suspect you are being funny, however there are several issues that could relate to spacial vision impairment. If life long most likely just a different wiring in the brain or a different way of thinking. However new onset is a neurological problem that could have several sources, TBI (brain injury, it doesn't have to be the big catastrophic injury even concussion can have some lasting brain injury), Parkinson's, or Alzheimer's are the biggest potential issues.

I hope you were just being funny, Terri!

Tonight I did a quilt top from a photo on Pinterest that is basically a quilt block blown up huge into a throw. It was fun. Like doing one of our blocks on steroids! I'm going to explore doing some other blocks that way... embiggened. :D (I know, that's not a word...)

Terriamn - no matter what you call it, there's nothing wrong with that block. Thank you, it is great. I appreciate the thinking that goes into fussy cutting the center square and other pieces.

ljdugas - your fabric is very nice. Here's a "Housewife" block for your collection. The roses with pink and white looks so very feminine.
