I can tell you what we would do to my Gpa when he needed bed rest and wouldn't comply, but I doubt it will be useful for you. We would take his leg (but only as a last resort) and only when it really was ness. for him to get bed rest.

No sewing getting done tonight, we have babies hatching.

I love your baby chickens sweater. What's hatching now?

So sweet. Love the little walking fuzz balls.

Thank you everyone for kind words. DH is starting to feel a bit better, not so much pain except when laying down.
peace

look what surprised me on the way out of my driveway. Big old snap.

What a beauty. Been around a long time. when I can catch them, I move them to the river and away from my ponds. They wreck havoc on the local ducks that visit the ponds.

(not as cute as chickens, but tastes.....)
peace

My FIL used to try to raise ducks and geese. But the turtles in the pond would eat them. He kept trying!
It was fun to watch the eggs in the incubators. Especially when they started hatching.

Ube, so glad your Dh is getting better - that was SOME set of injuries. The chicks are so cute - but the turtles make you appreciate life, too - think how long they can live - if they don't get run over!
