Oh, ploverwi2! The pink came out so nice. I only saw it when it was partially finished and now it is even more beautiful.

Please post it again, back in the old swap, from Oct to Feb, so everyone there can see it. JNCT14 did a wonderful job on it. Her embroidery inspired me to do the sampler for this one. I have to let her know.

Enjoy your pink!
peace

Hi swap buds. I have been busy getting back into my routine at work after being released from physical therapy for the knee surgery I had done over the last holiday. It is so hard after enjoying my home for a few months. Just like Marion says, I wish I could retire to my sewing room!

Here is a taste of progress on "I Think I'm Kinda Squirrely". It might need a new name so please give it your best!

The blocks have a variety of stitches that I found at this great site.

http://www.needlenthread.com/

I am finished up to "t" so far. They are on 4 1/2" blocks right now so they can be handled and the finished block will be between 2 - 2 1/2". It depends on if I add sashng or window panes or shadows or.......? Any suggestions are welcome!:D

They're wonderful!

Such great work! Love the squirrels too! We used to have a squirrel that would come down and sit on our car. He would eat out of your hand. The day we moved away he came out and ran out into the middle of the driveway watching us leave.

OH Ube, those squirrels are delightful!!!!

My sewing machine goes away as soon as I can start gardening, and I didn't want to get caught at the last minute trying to make my wall hanging (i know there's no commitment, but I WANT ANOTHER one!!!!)

So I've been a busy bee last week and this weekend ...

Have to have some embroidery of course!

Trying to use fabrics I have ... so some strips!

cutting them up!

And the semi-final product!

Now I have to figure out how to quilt it and bind it with all these angles LOL

Hi Rhonda I'm in -i bought fabric this weekend and came up with a very New Englandy idea....

Awesome

Your Nov to Feb wallhanging was very very nice! Can't wait to see your New England theme for the next swap. If it is Connecticut based I want it! 😄

Question about my WH ... pic is above ...

Has anyone made a WH with that kind of shape? Should I add to it to make it full all the way around? I'm not sure if it will hang nicely with the triangles "sticking out" ...

Any suggestions are very welcome!

Thanks all!
