Ronda, what a fun rosey quilt!
Ok all, I am gonna give "crazy" a whirl. Like Little Roo, I am rather structured but willing try and push my boundaries a bit.
Great way to use up those little pieces of fabric! You can do it Dragonfly Nana.
I'll make you structured people a deal - get unstructured for May and then you can put your heads together and pick the next oh-so-structured theme. Deal?
I'm finding that crazy quilts are "freeing", somehow. It seems chaotic when sewing the bits together, but it all comes together in the end, especially when fancy stitching and embellishments are added.
I love embellishments! If something doesn't look quite right, you can sew a piece of lace or a button over it, and the problem disappears! LOL! :D |
I'm in! Sending a PM!
While all of you are planning a crazy, wonky or otherwise unusual Doll Quilt for May, I hope you'll also plan to make a little quilt for AAQI. Chele started this tradition, in May, in the anniversary month of the Doll Quilt Swap. This year we're expanding the AAQI challenge to the whole QB. You can find the challenge thread here: AAQI Challenge. I know that we'll have a great month! |
