Excuse me if I'm just being thick/ dense, but if I sign up, I pick a theme, and someone different makes me a block each month, at the same time I make a different block for a different person each month. Is this right? If it is, can I play too?

That's right! It's a lot of fun to do this swap. Just PM MadeinMaine to tell her you want to join. She will do the rest, adding you to the list and assigning partners each month.

AKAngel - I have two blocks done are ready to send for our August swap!

The rules are for one >> but some people like to do more (their choice). I think it's nice to communicate your intentions so both parties feel comfortable with the swap.

Abonda! I got your wonderful block yesterday! I love it and I think you did a great job on paper piecing. The border looks really nice, I never would have guessed it was a unplanned thing.

I've finished your block and will send it tomorrow.

I was going to take a picture of your block and post it, but my batteries died just as I started loading blocks on the computer. They're all charged now, so I can post in a bit.

O000000000000000000000000000000000000000000h am I a lucky lady or what? I opened it up and my jaw dropped!! My very own iris to keep!! Thank you so much Shirley it is just stunning! It is the only Iris I have recieved and just perfect for my garden. I also love my garden Angel too! The Iris is all hand appliqued to perfection!! and it sits on a bed of lace! I can't thank you enough. I just Love Love Love it.
Oh ya the yellow beards are 3-d furry.
