I'm still confused about how I join the swap. I don't have an embroidery machine. Do we make the block our partner specifies or use the colors they specify to make a block of our choice?

That's about it :) You don't need an embroidery machine - you can piece or applique... just have fun!

Here are the blocks Dorrylu and I exchanged I made the blue and red one for her and she made the black, green and pink one for me which I love!

Ok, I am back from funeral. Actually, had a great trip even though the reason for going was not the best. Amazing how I have not changed much from five years old. I guess it is the blonde hair because I was the only child with it out of five and the only daughter left. I do have an evil step mother and will not have to associate any longer with her. Was nice of father's friends to let me know he did care about me and spoke of me often even though he never told me. Was good to hear. I will get on my November persons block this weekend. Finger is healing. No infection and stitches will have to stay in until next week. Wonder if my fingernail will ever look normal. Can one paint on the skin where fingernail is supposed to be? Hmmm when heals, will have to try. LOL.

AgentPatti, your wonderful block arrived today and I love it. I will post a picture of it later. You have no reason to worry about quality, the block is great! Thanks so much for swapping. Hope mine has made it to Nevada.
