I ended up with 2 swap partners this month, and they both want fall theme with leaves. How easy is that, now I hope I do them justice with the fall blocks. I didn't think I had much fall fabric to chose from well I was really wrong. I'd forgotten about lot of the fall fabric I have on hand. I'm anxious to get started. I'm going to visit Kenny and then come home and cut out. I can't remember if I posted I had to call the rescue unit and take him to the hospital. He has pneumonia and then of course sets all of his breathing problems off. Just seems like it's never ending sometimes, doesn't it? I was outside and pulling little weeds out of the flower bed and I actually got warm, just shows what little work can do. Dorothy, I like the way you say you were absent from your sewing room, good way to put it. You are clever. I wish all of you a great eve. even though it's suppose to get down to 34. Brrr. See you later.

I recieved my April block from Quilting Eileen. A lovely block of the New York city skyline. It will go perfectly in my "See The USA" quilt. Thank you so much. I have not replied sooner because it arrived while on a month's driving journey with my DH.

After I had mailed it I realize I messed up on the stem.....So you may need to fix that part....Sorry!

Donna,
I received a sweet envelope from you containing a MAPLE LEAF Block. THANK YOU!! You didn't have to do that at all, BUT I am certainly very happy that you did! I will be working on my block for my partner tonight, we had our weekend filled with errands and taking care of this and that, so I was absent from my sewing room. On te bright side it gave me time to come up with what I want to sew for her. Hope everyone has a great day! Dorothy |
I didn't even notice! I think it is perfect.
