Hi, Terriamn I'm south of you in Prior Lake. Are you enjoying the gloom with bits of sun today?

Here is for all you southern ladies. Today is gloomy but the colors are about the same as when I took these earlier.

By the way, I always saw in movies nice southern bells drank mint julep. I tried one a few years ago. Yuck!!!:p One sip was all I did. Some Southern bells are not as soft as we northerners think they are, we need to keep an eye on some of them.

Portland Maine is one place I definitely want to visit! Just call me a leaf peepah! LOL!

That's probably why mint juleps are sipped very slowly! :p Have to admit it doesn't appeal to me, either. Would rather have a glass of white wine . . . or hot cocoa w/coconut rum!

Southern belles can be soft . . . when it suits them. ;)

When it doesn't suit them they are on the Investigation Discovery Show "Southern Fried Homicide"!! :eek:http://investigation.discovery.com/t...y-southern.htm

It may have been made in jest, but there are people who just don't get joking the way others joke.
I've already been told that I was being discriminatory and I don't need someone thinking that I condone packages being done up by the way a person posts or doesn't post.
I run a fair swap and I don't need my name tarnished by people saying/doing things on my swaps that aren't true.
The "offenders" have been whipped with wet noodles and have been told to not do it again. Apologies have been made and accepted.
So, let's continue to have fun and let the ugly go away.

Now, EVERYONE in the hole! I've just had it dug deeper and I'm being nice and putting some big rocks in there so ya'll can have something to sit on.

Holy cow she was just joking. Nothing was meant by it and way to many people are way to uptight about everything. I thought this swap was suppose to be fun but dang it's to serious. It seriously was a joke and it looks like most of everyone new that.

My GOSH!! It's been less than 24 hours since I was on here and there were 15 pages to catch up on!!
~Jaba I was thinking about you last night when they said there was a blizzard in WY!! Hope you get "dug out" soon!!

~I forget who was asking about which way everyone prefers their FQ's, but I prefer mine the regular way that an FQ should be:thumbup:

FINALLY, just want to let everyone know that today is the last day to sign up for the Christmas Ornament swap if you want to join us!

There is NO "R" in a New England accent. I've lost alot of my NE accent, but once in a while, it'll pop up on me when I least expect it, especially when I've had a bit too much alcohol.
