Hi everybody. I haven't posted but once. I just can't keep up with you all, too much goin on! It's surely fun reading the posts but I'm sure I've missed plenty along the way....anyways, just wanted to stop by and say hi. My SS didn't really give me much in the way of wants or likes so I'll have to do some stalking for clues :)

For my SS-I am easy to please-I like it all- I am a new beginning quilter (except for tied and rag quilts-have done a lot of those) so I don't have much quilting stuff- although I do love to sew and make gifts, things for my children and my new GD. I love scrapbooking too! Love fabric--love handmade items-just love suprises in general-pretty much can't go wrong with me. I really like green and pink.Oh- I also collect bears.
As for mine-She doesn't live very many states away from me-hope I can suprise her!

Well, I haven't posted but twice I think...Been way way too busy with harvest...Thank goodness we are finally done done done....Now I can focus on my SS package...and whooooo we have a big Quilt show coming up in a couple of weeks, so my SS will be very very lucky. I already have a few things, but just know that there will be something at the quilt show she will like...

Thought I would leave another hint for my secret pal in case shes still filling up a package for me.
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have patterns for pin cushions. Tonight my daughter and I went to Joanns to get some quilt batting for her and we tried to find patterns and was unsuccessful and we even looked through their books as much as we could as they were so mixed up knitting and crocheting mixed in with COOKBOOKS.? Didnt know they sold cookbooks. So after about 15 minutes we gave up looking at the gooks. We also noticed that the magazines were all mixed up too. Definately not a very organized store.

Now as for the person I am filling up a box for...there is fabric and fat quarters and all kinds of stuff. Im going to either have to get a bigger box....OR MAIL it REAL SOON.

[QUOT=madbury;6340306]Oh SS...where are you?? I'm going to several quilt shops this weekend and would love to have your wish list. Favorite colors? Notions? Fabric lines/types? Help! :)[/QUOTE]
Just in case you have my name..my favorite color Iis BROWN but also like red, black, white. I like all kinds of notions. And I would like pin cushion patterns or any quilting patterns. I am not picky. Have fun shopping.

Does anyone wrap the items that are being sent or not just in case they need to be inspected during travel? I dont want to waste time or money if I dont need to. Thanks for your responses. Can it be Christmas now instead of Halloween? Lol

My SS wrapped mine last year and the box arrived intact. I think with modern X-ray machines and sniffer dogs nowadays they unwrap only those that seem suspicious. :)
I've been in the Secret Pal swap for 18 months and never had any opened (although I had to pay Import Duties and tax on one).
