A question for all in the USA. Could you use a metric tape measure? Almost all the ones sold in Canada are Metric on one side and inches on the other.

Having a great time getting my box ready. My question is would it be ok if I sent a yard of fabric instead of the fat quarters?

I think the idea is for the recipient to receive four different fabrics.

Well I just had a few pages to catch up on. I love all the elf names. I still have a few things to make. I think I picked up the last item from the store today. Of course that also depends what else I see the next time I am in a store. I have the 4 fq requirement filled along with some other great goodies. Since my SSR doesnt post alot and didnt list much I hope she likes. I went with a mix of stuff that I love and items that swap partners from the past really liked also. Well, waiting on laundry to dry then off to bed.

I myself would not care either way. If you are worried about the fact that it doesnt fit the rules just cut it into fq's. Problem solved after all the rule didnt state it was to be 4 different fq's. Fabric is fabric in my eyes.
