Boy oh boy! Everyone keeps adding to their wish lists, and everything I read seems to cost more than $20. Someone who gets my gifts will be very disappointed. I give gifts from the heart, not the pocketbook, and will be happy with the same. My little DGD loved going to the Dollar Store and buying some piece of $ junk, then complaining when it broke before she ever got home. I told her if she saved that dollar from her trips to the store, she could have $10 to buy something nice that wouldn't break.

I got my person for Secret Santa, I'm so excited! I feel like I shorted mine as I did not say much in the official sign up. Hope my Sants sees this and it helps. I love scrap quilts so any piece of fabric 2x2 or bigger is always appreciated. I am planning a Halloween quilt also...I love chocolate carmels, have a nook that I am on daily....

I am with you, to me gifts from the heart mean more than monetary gifts.

Got my partners name, will most likely be mailing off early as I will be crazy closer to the mailing deadline. Mom is having surgery next month.

Yep, make me something nice, or send me fabric to make my own something nice. Don't need any more books, no more templates, no more trinkets, don't eat chocolate or drink coffee, and eat very little in the line of sweets, so save the candy for someone else. Heidi asks for very little, but loves fluffy stuffed toys. She's not much for snacks either, since she is watching her lovely figure.

I have my Secret Santa name!!! I have my Name!!!!!! Stalked some of her past posts and feel I know her a little bit so off to the quilt shop on Friday. Seven of our quilt shops are having a scavenger hunt on Friday so I know I can pick up so great quilt items. I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it. Woot Woot

You guys are driving me crazy, crazy and crazy!!!!!!! I refuse to pout just because I haven't received my name yet! You know how the saying goes..."first the worst, second the same, last the best of all the game"? LOL! I'm going to assume I'm one of the "best" until someone tells me differently. :):)

I'm going to remember that one, Neesie. I have a feeling it will apply to many and myriad situations that have absolutely nothing to do with actually physically falling off a chair. No?

Imagine a very slight southern accent, on top of that proper British voice. :D

I was going to post a picture as a joke................... Do not ever Google 'Hairy Scottish Man'..........:eek::eek:

Thanks for the warning. I once looked up (what I thought was) an innocent-sounding quilt pattern and . . . oh, my! I was closing windows and new ones kept opening, before I could get rid of the old ones. I was actually getting into a panic, so finally had to just hit the OFF button, on my computer!
