Ok, its official - I totally dislike making half square triangles :( :( now I know why I never make them

Lynnie- your quilt is finished!! I always worry about if it's really what I should have chosen. I have to decide about the rest of my package since I don't often (never!) send to friends so far away!! Talk to Gladie about those half square triangles, she has them mastered!

Make him the cake so you can sew more. They are happier that way.

I got my top all done but did not get it quilted yet. Will be beautiful when done. Now it will be Monday in the mail. Maybe I will put it on the new longarm to quilt it and use some of the cool new designs I can do. WIll see for time. Want to get it done and mailed on time. Biscuit quilts look cool, and I do know how much work they are, made a baby quilt once, once.

Using Thangles or there are paper square sheets you can buy that let you follow the line for better accuracy and you do not ahve to sit with those tiny pieces and then resize them. Check out this site, they are free http://www.quiltingandwhatnot.ca/Hal...-Triangle.html you will be amazed how easy they are to make and are so perfect and easier to sew. I have used them when I did an hst exchange. Work fantastic.

Never was able to make contact with my partner, Ms Grace. I note that she hasn't posted anything to the new board, so I can only think she's left us. Any other DQ orphans out there who want to partner up? If so, PM me.

I contacted ...migrubbs...my Nov. DQ partner...have not heard from her...is she still active?

She was my partner last month. She doesn't post often, but I had no problem contacting her. Maybe she forgot about the DQ swap or the new board is confusing her?
