Yes omak it's a 4 patch obw.. instead of making them in 4 squares I did 4 triangles couple don't show much color tho :(

HOLY COW!! Two hours away?? Maybe I'd save some money that way. Within two hours we have... Well, more shops than I can count. I have at least 8 within an hour. I have my favorites, of course, and a couple of those I haven't gone back to. But I try to do what I can to help stimulate the economy, lol.

I visited two shops while on vacation in FL and picked up some things for this swap. Now I'm working on getting caught up on everything - the price to be paid for going away. This thread has really grown, I've got some reading to do!

Other than Walmart, the fabric store is 20 miles away and the LQS is 65 miles away - I wish I had the $ to open my own store!!! Wouldn't that be great?? :D

I have one fabric store here that is about 15 miles away. The next closest one that I know how to get to is over 3000 miles away!

Yikes - I'm catching up on posts, while others have not only finished their quilt but put it in the post. Fortunately, I work well under stress...

So sorry, partner, no hints as to my progress as there hasn't been any! This week I have Wednesday off and will be putting the first border on the IRR I've joined. Then I'll focus on this project.

I received my Wonderful little Doll Quilt from UpNorth today!! It is so pretty!!! :D :D I love the posies she made on the front and the quilting is outstanding, all snowflakes!! :D :D Thank you Donna for a Beautiful little quilt and also for all of the goodies that you sent!! DH loves my quilt too!! :D Nice work on your first mitered corners!!

I still have to make a label and a special goodie to go with a little rag quilt that I just took out of the dryer. I have to give a work shop on making rag quilts for my quilt guild this month and thought a mini quilt would be fun to demonstate so I killed two birds with one stone. LOL. I was pleased with the results of three layers of flannel with 1/4" seams. I fussy cut the little ducks from the left overs of a larger rag quilt that will be one of my great grands christmas present this year. The mini quilt has 3" blocks. The larger quilt has 1" seams and has 10" blocks I used flannel for the tops and bottoms and a batting material inbetween. I am going to use the larger quilt also as an example and I have purposely left it partically finished to demonstrate how I sewed it together and clipped the seams.

Well drat! I had not been getting notices for this thread and noticed that it had ballooned with replies...I had a ton of pages to catch up on!

This is getting more and more fun...love the quilts so far! I love the quilted snowflakes!!
