J50, here is your beautiful work gracing my front door --- and every once in a while, the wind flips it over so everyone can see the reverse - usually in the afternoon when the winds kick up and the sun shines from the west in the direction of your rays. I like Hallowe'en - it's been minimal at our house since our DDs grew on up and out of here...so I decorate, and give out candy & try to also give out non-candy, healthier items. (Like quarters, or little games. It doesn't get too expensive because not a whole lot of kids come by...everyone flocks to the "wealthier" areas, lol.)

Linda, I am a coffee fanatic and luv love LOVE your card. Cuppy, same with you - I am a button fanatic as well...beautiful.

Is the orange thread metallic, or just very shiny? Makes Jack look very fancy!

The orange thread is rayon. I do a lot of machine embroidery. Take a look at it at dusk, it sort of glows in the dark like a real jack o lantern.

Love the count your button day card from K -Roll. Complete with hand stitching on the 21. Not sure of the 21 significance but sure wish I was that age again. And there are 21 buttons on the card!
