spent afternoon working on this ornament. hope to finish tomorrow or Monday. so far so good. I am enjoying the process even though it involves a lot of handwork. Guess that is what makes it special.

Red you shouldnt have had to use so much stabilizer. What are you using for stabilizer how fast is your machine embroidery? I have mine set on the lowest speed to embroider. I also only use 2 sheets of washout stabilizer.

Okay I will try and get a couple later today. I am pretty sore from yard cleanup and laundry yesterday. Lol!

I did get the machine lace ornament parts embroidered, but I have to remove all of the stabilizer and let it set to dry on an form. It took two tries at it to get it to work. I had to use four pieces of stabilizer so it would not tear during the embroidering.

I will try the slower speed next time. Thanks for the tip, verna. I don't do a lot of machine embroidery, so this was a first for the lace angel. The first try was with three sheets and half way through it cut away and got all messed up. Boy, that wasn't pretty at all what I said when that happened.

Anoka, what a fun quiz! I think I know the answer to a few of them, so it will be fun to research to see if I'm right (or wrong) about those plus to learn some new things.
