ok a;; hi t is me again. still sick but still taking meds and going to doc on thrusday, but wall hanging is almost done, putting the finisheing youches on it thought tonight but most likely tomorow and will be mailed out on thursday, i have my name and i know she iw waiting in the wings and im so sorry , i got mine and love it so, i sure hope mine is loved-liked as much, its not easter but its spring and its pretty, and thats all the hints for now

I am a slacker!! Really didnt mean to be taking soooo long to get mine completed. When I started the new job a few months ago I did not realize how many late nights and Saturdays I would be working. Tomorrow is my 1/2 day since I worked this past Sat. I will be working on the last corner and getting the binding on. My goal is to be postal by Thursday.

LOL!! Oh he didn't open it I did, but I had a Dr. Appointment and I so wanted to see what was in the package, I was so excited! so when we got back from the Dr. I was starting supper and he ask if I wanted the package it came in and not thinking I said no, so he threw it in the trash for me. But when I got threw with supper still didn't realize I had throw the person name in the trash and so when I went into the sewing room to hang it on the wall which was the few days, and trash day, still not thinking I didn't have a name to go with the quilt. But my friend from down under contacted me and told me who it was from! Beautiful Quilt and it all worked out!!! LOL (it was my fault but I needed to blame the hubby) LOL!!!!!

I was blessed to receive a beautiful wall hanging today from Lynnie25 from Australia. I was so excited and wanted to say Thank YOU that I posted it it the wrong thread. Thankfully one of the gals on the thread sent me a PM and told me!
Silly me...anyway...It is awesome. Colors: white on black, white on read and red with white polka dots. (sorry I can't post picture! It's so pretty! there are 2 large flowers and a butterfly machine appliqued (all red with white dots) on a black and white and red and white checkerboard background. Thank you, Lyn, for the work you put into this. The workmanship is tops and I love it! Thank You so much for the wall quilt and also for the mug rug in the shape of Australia! Doing the Happy dance here in the Ozark mountains! :)

i haven't rec'd mine yet, so i'm being very patient! i think our p.o. likes to fondle my squishy packages and that's why it takes them sooo long to get to me. so, who ever has made mine, i've just given you a good excuse if you're running late. i'm so glad we get saturday delivery still. i hate that it will end!

laquita, that looks like one of my colors..... are you sure you sent it to the right person? grann and i are good friends so it would be easy to get us confused. and we each have 2 dogs, and we look so much alike even our kids have trouble telling us apart, so it stands to reason you might have mistaken her for me, everyone does! a hunh, a hunh! and that's the truth! i hope mine comes soon. i'm not panicking, the valium helps with that, i just can't wait!! i LOVE prezzies, and squishies and surprizes in the mail ( or by fed-ex or ups, or personal courier.....or well- housebroken pigeons) as long as it's all good news!!

You gotta watch that nancia, she takes her valium with a couple glasses of wine. You know what happens then. And it is true, we are twins of a different mother. LOL

Got a beautiful little hanging from Rhonda today. I love the green and pink and looks great in my kitchen. Might just be hooked on this now for a new little color. Thank you Rhonda so much I love it. I am binding as we speak!!! Not sure if I will make it to the PO tomorrow on lunch. Monday's are usually a hectic day at the office and I will have to try to slip away to the PO. If I don't make it, I know I will on Tuesday. I am so sorry I am so far behind. Didn't realize how slow I was at hand quilting. I do know that once I sign up for the next one that I will need to start quilting as soon as I have it all set. Got the pattern all pick out and fabric as well. Not going to sign up until I am postal for this one.

Look at this gorgeous wallhanging I received this morning from Nancia. I love it and I am getting quite a collection of nancia's amazing work now, this is the third time we have been 'swap partners' so to speak. Nancia also sent two lovely pieces of blue fabric which I will definitely be using soon, actually they will fit perfectly into a quilt I am piecing right now LOL

Thank you Nancia for another lovely little quilt. I will be having a Nancia inspired quilt exhibit locally very soon so you can become internationally famous :)

Well Rhonda here we go again.....Denver was suppose to send it back to me and now today they say it's in route to Des Moines, Apparently they are trying to send it again before I really come uncorked. I'll track until Monday and see and you can too with the numbers I sent, about ready to give up on this. 19 days for 1st class, delivery confirmation is a little much. I'm so sorry you don't have one yet but I really am trying to get it there.

I've come to the conclusion that's why the PO is loosing money, they just keep sending things all over back and forth a dozen times when it should only be once. Maybe they need people to read addresses instead of machines.

little roO, it is here!! found a package under my mailbox and so excited! i took pictures but now i can't find my camera! my house is all topsy turvy at the moment! i LOVE this wallhanging! such a beautiful heart, and all the right colors, as if you were making it for me all along! i have to confess, i've eaten almost all of the candy. house rule growing up , 'you can't use or eat a gift until your thank you is written.' well, i still have one bunny left. yummy, my son told me cadbury was better in the u.k., but frankly it tasted great to me right here at home. lol. i read the ingredients and you don't have hi-fructose corn syrup. whatever it is, i love it, too.i have welcomed the treats to their new home, my left and right hips.:D the tea and tea towel are so fun and i bet tasty. (second confession, i do not plan on eating the tea towel, no matter how tasty it looks!) and the strawberry bag is terrific! i will definitely use it as it will fit in my purse and go whither i goest. but let's get back to the really important matter at hand. you made a beautiful, no, make that gorgeous heart wall hanging. thank you sooo much! i will find my camera (probably under a stack of stash), and post the pics immediately after. you are a better partner than i deserve, but i am grateful you put so much time and effort into a lovely piece. again , thank you!

roO` my sister lived in singapore for many years and my parents lived in new england. she could make it around the world in 4 days. why does our mail take so long? and she's alot bigger than an envelope, too!

I know, it is crazy. Ironically my husband and daughter came to New York at the beginning of March and I almost thought about giving one of them the parcel to post over there but then I thought no...that will probably take longer.....how wrong I was. I just cannot understand why a parcel should take three weeks......I wonder which is worse US post or UK post ?

Thank you! I had fun making it. It was a class that my LQS did several years ago. That one was done in pale purple and yellows. I gave it to my sister. Her favorite color is purple.

I received a very pretty wallhanging today from Tracey aka Queen of 2802. My camera is at my aunt's in Delaware (since I forgot and left it there) so I am attaching the picture that Tracey showed all of you. My Sassy cat can't leave it alone so I bet Tracey has a dog or cat at her house.
Beautiful colors in the flowers and lovely hand quilting, something I have never done.

We do have a cat. He is an orange tabby, named Camo. My daughter wanted to name him Cami but after a few weeks his whoo haaas dropped and she was really he. We had to change the name quick. She said camouflage came in orange too, so it stuck. Anyway, I couldn't keep him off of it! He really wanted to keep it.
