I'm sorry it's so matchy; I accidentally bought the exact same yellow fabric as in the bottom row... *grin*

LOL I actually have that one also I was using it on another block

Hehehehe, must have been a big sale on it all across the country! Feel free to put it in if you want.

Why an alternate block I'm so confused. Did you want to see your rows? I love how they look and the sashing really helps it.

I felt like the bells left to much empty space? so I did another poinsettia block in a different pattern, lol and then I was late and I couldn't decide so I sewed in the original plan and am sending the other one lol. and Yes I would LOVE to see pictures of mine

That would be great if you could put mine in the middle. Thanks so much. Sorry I forgot to post a pic of your quilt. I took one but that must have been as far as I got!

Booklady, you should have Robbi24's Christmas row on Monday

saritabee 06-24-2011 04:37 PM

Got the scrappy-scrappy row in the mail today! :) It freaked me out because it still had the original return address on the box and I wasn't expecting anything from Arkansas."Who is sending me mystery things?!?"
But then it was awesome quilt bits, so that was good. *grin*
It looks wonderful! So bright and colorful. Also, I like the nod to Robbi's Christmas quilt, with the little cardinal hidden in one of the spiderweb blocks. :)

I need to get busy with this! I have the Christmas theme quilt and I've been checking out some books for ideas. Guess I better quit looking and start sewing! Good luck everyone!

Started sewing after a trip to the LQS (like I need an excuse) as the fall colors are richer than most of mine, as mine are a little brighter lol. I found some great items so now back to those decisions. I had to finish my mom's quilt for her birthday (80th) so I'm just stitching her binding down and working on label. I love all the colors they are so rich and the pics do not do them justice. more later :)

I've been packing and moving so I haven't even started on it yet... I finally have a quilting "studio" (e.g. corner of the room) though, and it's the first time EVER that my fabric's been all in one spot and visible. It's fabulous. *grin* So... I'm excited to start working on it. Just a little bit more tidying up to do...
I can't believe we're more than halfway done already! :)

I'm running late I know. When is the next mailing date?

Robbi24 08-15-2011 06:29 PM

Hello, I too am running late, with work, birthday party and then was to sew this past weekend but ended up sick for most of it, and now packing/laundry/shopping to send 2 off to college soooooooo wont get back to it till Thurs afterwork. So Sorry but it will be finished and with great care to do it right for you.

saritabee 08-15-2011 08:49 PM

we should be called the Late Team instead of the Memory Makers. *grin* At least we're all consistent. *grin-tease*

My "new" (borrowed) sewing machine is the devil. I seam ripped a whole block five times this afternoon. Hopefully the last blocks go more smoothly, but it'll probably be another day or two for me.

Short an Sweet 08-16-2011 05:38 AM

ROFL yes I am Late also

Sounds like me! Went for a 7 hr drive to visit family for the weekend and celebrate Mom's 80th birthday. Came home to first day of school (800 teens) on Monday. Sick as the world Monday nite and stayed home Tues and Wed. Now back to school tomorrow, then take college co-ed on another 7hr drive Friday to take her back to college for year.

That's pretty funny Short! I haven't been receiving the updates for this post. I'm so glad to hear everyone else is running late because so am I this time. Four blocks of applique! I should be sending out next week.
