Thanks for showing your picture. I am also signed up to take part in the round/row robin. I was having trouble visualising the finished piece. It makes it easier to see that the entire row is one pattern.
It will be fun! This was new to me also, but looking forward to it! Mariah. |
Thanks for sharing very lovely.

Oh Wow, that quilt is stuning, absolutely amazing. :)

So when it has passed everyones hands and we each get ours back, How many rows will it be 5 or 6? Is this really expensive to do for shipping?
|
If I understand this correctly we'll have 6 rows do it'll be a 60.5x60.5 unfinished quilt top. I would imagine that the shipping probably wouldn't be too horrible but it will get a bit more expensive towards the end of the row robin.
|
I also was wondering about the shipping. Does anyone have any idea how much the shipping was with a previous row robin, especially towards the end of the cycle?

So once we get it back, are the rows sewed together already? I mean do we just add a border and quilt and bind it or do the rows have to be put together first?? Just wondering. I am SO excited about this!!

When we get it back the rows are already together we just have to add a final border and backing and quilt!

I did one robin (not a row robin bit similar to a round robin and block exchange) ages ago and we had the opportunity to include pieces we wanted as sashing in our package. Maybe it'll be the same with this one I don't know!
