Mary Lane...love your row and the use of the Log Cabin and Jacob's Ladder symbolism. This is so much fun!

Sherry, just happened to think in answer to your question re the grey ... think if you look at the bushes on my row they have a teeny greenish cast.

Whatever you like is fine with me. I mostly chose to do 5 of the same block because I have some ideas in mind when my quilt blocks come back to me. As a sidenote, a couple of the fabrics I used are actually authentic 1930's
fabric. No kidding! Can you guess which ones??? hehehehe

Oh, my! Gonna' guess the turquoise background with the large flowers, maybe the pink with the teeny blue dot and the black and white check. Okay, tell me where I went wrong :D

Posting from my phone. We drove up to our son's last. Night.

Thanks everyone! It is a bit busy but hopefully works. I sent a notebook. Not sure I have ever written I so frequently!

Should arrive Monday Barbara.

Mary, I have cut sashing for my butterflies. I will get them in the mail.

MaryLane 12-01-2012 02:59 PM

I will look for them, Sherry.

I know my theme is my sewing room but staying with the basic color scheme, anything is fine. I will be using the red center of the log cabin block as my sashing. I tried to put several things about me in the notebook. Maybe a better theme would be "Things I love". I am fine with that, too!

Thank you all for being patient with me. All of yours are actually easier for me than my own. I have ideas for everyone.

You're right, Yvonne! the teal color was called aloe back in the 30's and the black & white gingham is the other.

Yvonne, I started working on your row. I will give you some hints as to what I am doing. There is a house, a moon, some trees, and some life. They are in blacks, whites, greys, taupe, and camel. Ha! Ha! I bet you can't guess what I am doing. LOL. Sherry
