All of these ideas are too cute, trying to brainstorm a way to combine my favorites!

I know for sure we are to use white fabric for center. So white muslin should work. As long as it's white

I just emailed NorBanaquilts to add my name to the list. I live in Michigan. I plan on making one for everyone. I'm going to a sewing retreat this week-end and plan on getting them finished then. I did start making them but didn't want to commit until I was sure i could do one for everyone. This exchange will be a lot of fun.

These little blocks work up so fast you'll be done in no time.

The blocks work up fast, but I swear my hands really hurt signing all those little blocks so you might only want to do a doz. or so at a time.

Yippee! I just finished 180 blocks today. I'm watching the count daily (or 2-3 times daily). I'm so excited about this swap. Have never done one. I have to press them all to heat set the signature. I did use a perma fabric pen but want to be sure. I just love this site. I'm alone and you keep me company and laughing all the time. Love ya.

I wanna play, too. Sounds like fun!

I even know what I am going to do with mine...I have decidedI am going to cut 5 1/2" squares of wadding - pin the sig block to the middle, add 1" strips around the four sides (probably in scrappy colours) and then join using sashing strips! Should look great and I have been looking for ways to use up my wadding scraps!
