OK I think I am Siggy Silly now. Why did I have to make 180 blocks before I figured out that it is much easier to sew the left over little half squares BEFORE you trim the Siggy's????? Now I have all of these loose little triangles that are crying to be in a quilt and I have to feed 360 of them through my machine. I got the brainstorm to sew them first while working on a graduation autograph quilt for my friends twins. It works like a charm!

Dragonfly Nana - I think your label is a great idea for the front of the quilt. Gail has done a lovely job. I might see if I can track down someone who machine embroiders over here.

I could use my mini HST off-cuts to border the label as well as in my siggie quilt border.

(I sewed mine together as I went!!!)

I'm watching that Activity Page closely - its been 7 days since my blocks went to the Post Office and I'm waiting for that "blocks received".

23 more completely done!
That brings up a grand total of 139!
I seem to get one reject for every 12 I sew that's why the odd numbers.
Now my dilemma, the design I have worked out calls for 144 sig blocks to make 48x54 or with a border 54x60. If I try to enlarge it 173 won't be enough blocks so I guess I'll stick with 144. I would have 29 left overs if I make all 173. I guess I could put them on the back or better stick them in the final border. I know it would be much easier for our hostess to divide up the blocks if everyone sent the same number.
Still time to decide.
I am not sewing my little triangles together! I can't work with those tiny blocks.
:-D

Now I just have to wait until we get the blocks back to start the quilt. I am planning on arranging them in X's and O's surounding this center square (=to 4 blocks)

Thanks to Norbana for taking on the huge task of sorting and swapping them all!

That is so perfect for a siggy quilt! Maybe I'll have to work something like that into my quilt I think it will work with the design I have already worked out.
:-D
