at least I know that my blocks should make it now on time. I did send them out of the 15th air mail from Canada. That being said, Canada Post can be very slow. Hopefully mine get there sooner than later!

I think I may be making making more blocks. I quit at 117 just got so slowed down. But I may be getting my energy back. I did find my old blender...LOL

That's awesome that you have gotten your energy back!
I hate it when my "git up and go" has "got up and went!" (As my mum used to say.) LOL

Philarena 06-19-2010 07:22 AM

Hi! This is Philarena. I pm'd and asked if I could mail mine out Wednesday, June 16th, because my husband, aheart transplant patient of five years ago, was at Shands Hospital in Gainsville, FL, all day Tuesday and I was with him, of course, as his designated driver.

Well, Wednesday it was my turn to go to the Dr. and it turns out that I have a sinus unfection, which has stirred up my bronchial asthma and COPD and really left me wiped out! I can't seem to finish my blocks and they haven't been mailed yet. But this would give me a couple of days to recuperate and get to feeling better `~ then I can get some good blocks turned in!

I am hoping the missing Alabama IS NOT ME - I mailed mine in over a month ago, and the chart indicated received. So, hopefully, you're referring to another Alabamaian-- cmsmith46580 - Scottsboro, AL

nope, not you! Yours are safe and sound playing in the big bin with all the others.

wow! a date change, well I appreciate all the work that you ladies are doing to get the blocks swapped out! One of my sets was under the 174 mark so maybe I will have to send off a few more if I can get to it. I know that not everyone was doing the whole amount of 174 so I was just wondering so far if you know how many haven't because then maybe I don't have too many more to make.. Thanx
