All I cared was that I received one from each person in the swap. Hope you all enjoy them! and they are fun! |

I am halfway thorugh sewing mine together but have to share a pic of the layout with my label from Gail R in the center now.
It will be the first wall haning in my new sewing room! I am making a pillow from the duplicates I received so I can "lean on experience" each time I sew. |
I am very happy with my Siggy Blocks; I have a design in mind just as soon as I can get to it! I have sent a thank you note- for the "swapping facility" -to the address that was provided.
I so appreciate all the time, dollars spent, and work that our coordinators did! And to the rest of you, thank you for sharing! Your names/towns are now part of history. I plan to make an oversize siggy block for the center of my quilt. I would like to embroidery the Swap name, date, quilting board, and the names of the coordinators. Could someone please tell me those 3 names again? |
I was so excited to get the blocks in the mail that I didn't stop to count. I think it is wonderful that some were willing and able to host this, and spend the time swapping the blocks, and the provision of a place... There is a lot to be thankful for. Whatever the count, I will find a place for each block, and enjoy my very own quilt. I really like the idea of a pillow, to 'lean on experience' while quilting!
Thank you all. |
Lucylockett - NorBanaquilts was the swap co-ordinator, no1jan and sewcrafty were her wonderful assistants.
Love to see a pic of your quilt design. |

I'm sure they will be there any day. It's funny what the PO does. I have really enjoyed this swap and will use all of my blocks! susie :-D |
Gee, I hope no one thinks anyone was taking advantage.. I surely did not.. I had said use my extras for those who need them.. I assumed you'd do just that.. I am more than happy with my blocks. They will be wonderful when put together..
We appreciate all the work this was for the swappers. and we've all had a great time getting them done, and the drama of sending them added excitment.. and then waiting for them to arrive back home has kept us all up late thinking about what we'd do with them. It's been weeks of the most fun I've ever had doing something like this! |
I ended up with 3 or 4 that I couldn't figure out so I gave up put them back in the baggie and worry no more
When I start to put mine together , I will just reach in the baggie and what comes out will be the next one  Truly a scrappy |
