CLMquilter, I plan to adapt the Vintage Propellers pattern to use my 1-1/2" HST. It's a free download at Connecting Threads.

For those using the Sigma Micron pens, which pen width are you using?

Ok I made 40 more last night. That brings me to 190 I am seeing these things in my sleep! LOL

My 3 last night seems insignificant to this. I threw away more than made :-P

pvquilter 05-08-2010 07:48 AM

I have 180 made. This has been fun. They go together fast.

ok you guys, u must have a speedy way of cutting them out. I'm not an expert at quilting and all the tricks ... just learning. I sew one at a time ... you must sew one side, don't cut thread and go onto the next block, etc.

You got it! Chain piece.

AkAngel 05-08-2010 09:31 AM

Absolutely, chain piecing is the only way to go on this amount of blocks.
I am hoping to kick out at least 100 today besides get my May partner block done and at least a few cut for the boomerang swap. Guess you know what i'll be doing my Mother's Day weekend.

I haven't counted the ones I have done but probably about 80, not signed yet though

rocklady 05-08-2010 11:41 AM
