It's my understanding that one should iron them again so that the heat can set the ink in the fabric. That's what I did...

I like Judie's idea for sorting the blocks.

To add to it, you could organize your return envelopes with the people who send in full amount of blocks on the top rows, and then in order down to the least amount of blocks on the bottom rows. Then hand out all of the full amount blocks first, then start with the next highest amount and so on, starting each new block where the previous one ended. This way those that have sent in full amount of blocks will get more of a variety. This way may help in having the sender receive many of their own blocks back.

Hope that makes sense! Just my opinion :)

No matter what it is going to be a long task...good luck!

Hi,
I will be making enough for everyone in the swap.

It is going to be a huge task trying to put them into stacks and envelopes for everyone. Thanks for doing this for us.

I was thinking about this and had an idea, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to write it down so it makes sense. It makes great sense inside my head though and it is a wonderful idea......just so you know. Trying to find a way so we don't get back so many of our own blocks. I would rather have a few of everyone elses than a bunch of my own sent back to me. Just a thought.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's.

Would love to do this but we just got out of the hospital- spouse had open heart. Won't have time at this time to make quilt squares but have wanted to get involved in a quilt square swap. If we do this again I sure would like to know. Thank you and my husband is doing great!

So happy to hear that your husband is doing great.
A few pages back someone suggested another block swap like this one but leaving them blank and possibly doing it with a theme in mind, such as Christmas or something. If they decide to do this. I am going to participate. This block was so easy to make and went together very quickly.
Maybe you will be able to join that one when it happens.

Well I didn't get as many done to day as I would have liked,
but I have 87 made and signed (My thumb was killing me by the time I had signed them all). I do have all the rest cut but they will have to wait til next weekend probably as I really need to work on some other exchanges as well. By then we will have the final count of howmany we need for a complete set so I'll keep plugging.
