yeah!!!

b.zang 10-01-2009 06:22 PM

So this is how people get squishies!!! I always read about these neat packages that seem to randomly show up and have often wondered at the logistics of getting the address of someone you don't know. AHA!

Here comes my PM so I can play, too.

SulaBug 10-02-2009 06:55 PM

I just PM'd you my information.
Now to wait until December!!
:D :D :D

barbsbus 10-02-2009 07:55 PM

This sounds like fun. I will pm you with info

Janstar 10-03-2009 03:06 PM

Sounds like a blast! I'll PM you my info. Thanks for thinking of this fun event!

Iluv2quilt 10-03-2009 04:02 PM

I'd like to play too.

kwhite, I sent you a pm with my information.

Esqmommy 10-04-2009 09:22 AM

I'm picking up things here and there. I want my person to feel loved and special!! I can't wait for this to start. I already have a gift to celebrate Dr. King's birthday. He is one of my all time heros, so I want to celebrate his bday with GUSTO! I figured there's a reason to celebrate and surprise my SQA at least once a month, right??????????? How long are we waiting to get our person? Are we starting in January? Why can't we start NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Esqmommy 10-04-2009 09:24 AM

There's only one international gal - Kathryn, what's up with all the others? Seriously? Where's butterflyspain, lacelady. bluechicken and all the other international folks???

STAR 10-04-2009 10:57 AM

I can't wait either I have already been thinking of little things that can be put in the mail for my special person!! I was thinking maybe 2x a month!! if there are no special days. This will be so much fun

Knot Sew 10-04-2009 12:37 PM

I will sign on this sound fun and makes everyone feel special :D

kwhite 10-04-2009 12:59 PM

Actually there are three from outside the US at this point.

sandpat 10-04-2009 04:01 PM

Maybe our "feriners" just haven't read the thread yet...theres still time!

Esqmommy 10-04-2009 04:37 PM

Canadians can be a bit more anonymous that France, Englad, NZ and Australia...although my offer is open if they are concerned their SQA will know it's them!

BlueChicken 10-04-2009 04:39 PM

LOL :-)

I've been reading, and I thought about it. But I couldn't do the "secret" part... I'd want to send stuff that you guys don't get over there, so it would be pretty obvious! :-)

I think that would be neat!!! :D

kwhite 10-04-2009 06:20 PM

Yes Sewjoyce. I agree. Even if you send something that no one in the US can get they still would not KNOW. Face it if any of us WANT to find out who we are paired with we likely can. The majority of us though, I bet, Would just not want to know. Please join!!!.

Also one of you very intelligent ladies came up with a great idea. Come up with an ALIAS!!!. Sign your notes with it and add one more element of fun to the goings-on.

Janstar 10-04-2009 07:02 PM

Yes, Blue, come join us, it will be a blast!

BlueChicken 10-04-2009 07:23 PM

Ahhhh.... but I'd be wanting to get things like little stuffed blue chickens, and kiwis, and all sorts of other very New Zealandy things! lol

But you get someone like me, and I don't know about Blue chickens or that they are from New Zealand  Besides are you the only one on the board from New Zealand ? Truly I don't know  I am so bad about some things LOL

You know now! LOL

I'm not the only one in this forum from New Zealand... but I seem to be the only one who posts a lot (read: far too much) and I sign up for most things. I may be somewhat vocal! ;-)

SaraSewing 10-04-2009 07:53 PM

Ah ha! I have a plan for who ever my secret pal is. I can't tell you now, but I'm getting it all prepared!!!!

sharon b 10-04-2009 07:57 PM

I plan on using different names and address for the return and mailing them from different cities

Janstar 10-04-2009 09:03 PM

Oh that's sneaky sharon but very clever!!

STAR 10-05-2009 03:28 AM

That's a great idea Sharon, but whatever city in France I mail from you'll still know it's me - I'm thinking if ESQ is up to it, that's my best bet for remaining anonymous, although if I send anything French well that will be a HUGE clue!

I got your back kiddo!! I am happy to send on to your person...unless that person is me! ha, wouldn't that be funny? Well K - if you pick me and Kathryn, then you have to put one of us back in the mix and choose another partner. We can't have each other!

sandpat 10-05-2009 05:49 AM

Oh....me thinks you are all too worried about whether you know who your partner is or not....while its fun NOT to know...its still loads of fun even if you DO know! I'll take any of you "fereiners" I like weird stuff like blue chickens or french eggs...heck...if it helps you out...I could pretend not to know... :?

k3n 10-05-2009 06:02 AM

I had the same thought Esq! Patti PRETENDING not to know, hmm, that I'd have to see! Hans said he could send stuff from other countries for me, but it'd still be in Europe!

sandpat 10-05-2009 06:05 AM

But gosh K...we'd be scrolling through the member listing to see who was from say....well...whereever else Hans goes in Europe!
