I lost IT! I had it but I must have put it down somewhere like I do with my glasses or keys and then spend hours looking for them. I looked everywhere for it. I looked at the community parade, the hanging of the greens at church, the community sing a long, the tree trimming with the senior citizens at work, the mall, the mall santa with children and their wish lists, I bought a warm snickerdoodle and ate it, and even drank a mimosa and still couldn't find it. Somehow I have lost my Christmas! HELP!

I'm dog sitting for my DD this weekend. I brought her American Bulldog to my house to spend the weekend to avoid the trips to her apt. and him being lonely. Here is a picture of my boys together. My house guest is the big white dog and the little brown dachshund is my Wolfie. So I may not be around much this weekend, the weather is supposed to be very mild here and I want the boys to spend as much time outside as possible.

Do You Hear What I Hear?
Said the night wind to the little lamb Do you see what I see Way up in the sky little lamb Do you see what I see A star, a star Dancing in the night With a tail as big as a kite With a tail as big as a kite Said the little lamb to the shepard boy Do you hear what I hear Ringing through the sky shepard boy Do you hear what I hear A song, a song High above the tree With a voice as big as the sea With a voice as big as the sea Said the shepard boy to the mighty king Do you know what I know In your palace wall mighty king Do you know what I know A child, a child Shivers in the cold Let us bring him silver and gold Let us bring him silver and gold Said the king to the people everywhere Listen to what I say Pray for peace people everywhere Listen to what I say The child, the child Sleeping in the night He will bring us goodness and light He will bring us goodness and light The child, the child Sleeping in the night He will bring us goodness and light |
I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day.
I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day Their old familiar carols play, And wild and sweet the words repeat Of peace on earth, good will to men. I thought how, as the day had come, The belfries of all Christendom Had rolled along the unbroken song Of peace on earth, good will to men. And in despair I bowed my head: “There is no peace on earth,” I said, “For hate is strong and mocks the song Of peace on earth, good will to men.” Then pealed the bells more loud and deep: “God is not dead, nor doth he sleep; The wrong shall fail, the right prevail, With peace on earth, good will to men.” Till, ringing singing, on its way, The world revolved from night to day, A voice, a chime, a chant sublime, Of peace on earth, good will to men! |
O Holy Night.
O holy night! The stars are brightly shining, It is the night of our dear Saviour’s birth. Long lay the world in sin and error pining, ‘Til He appear’d and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices, For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn. Fall on your knees! O hear the angel voices! O night divine, O night when Christ was born; O night divine, O night, O night Divine. Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming, With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand. So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming, Here come the wise men from Orient land. The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger; In all our trials born to be our friend. He knows our need, to our weakness is no stranger, Behold your King! Before Him lowly bend! Behold your King, Before Him lowly bend! Truly He taught us to love one another; His law is love and His gospel is peace. Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother; And in His name all oppression shall cease. Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we, Let all within us praise His holy name. Christ is the Lord! O praise His Name forever, His power and glory evermore proclaim. His power and glory evermore proclaim. |
Up on the House Top.
Up on the housetop Reindeer pause, Out jumps good old Santa Claus. Down thru’ the chimney With lots of toys, All for the little ones, Christmas joys. Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go! Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go! Up on the housetop, Click, click, click, Down thru’ the chimney With good Saint Nick. First comes the stocking Of little Nell, Oh, dear Santa Fill it well; Give her a dolly That laughs and cries One that will open And shut her eyes. Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go! Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go! Up on the housetop, Click, click, click, Down thru’ the chimney With good Saint Nick. Next comes the stocking Of little Will, Oh just see What a glorious fill Here is a hammer And lots of tacks, Also a ball And a whip that cracks. Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go! Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go! Up on the housetop, Click, click, click, Down thru’ the chimney With good Saint Nick. |
Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.
Grandma got run over by a reindeer Walking home from our house Christmas eve You can say there’s no such thing as Santa But as for me and Grandpa, we believe She’d been drinkin’ too much egg nog And we’d begged her not to go But she’d forgot her medication So she staggered out the door into the snow When we found her Christmas mornin’ At the scene of the attack She had hoof prints on her forehead And incriminatin’ Claus marks on her back Grandma got run over by a reindeer Walkin’ home from our house Christmas eve You can say there’s no such thing as Santa But as for me and Grandpa, we believe Now were all so proud of Grandpa He’s been takin’ this so well See him in there watchin’ football Drinkin’ beer and playin’ cards with cousin Belle It’s not Christmas without Grandma All the family’s dressed in black And we just can’t help but wonder Should we open up her gifts or send them back? Grandma got run over by a reindeer Walkin’ home from our house Christmas eve You can say there’s no such thing as Santa But as for me and Grandpa, we believe Now the goose is on the table And the pudding made of pig And a blue and silver candle That would just have matched the hair in Grandma’s wig I’ve warned all my friends and neighbors Better watch out for yourselves They should never give a license To a man who drives a sleigh and plays with elves Grandma got run over by a reindeer Walkin’ home from our house, Christmas eve You can say there’s no such thing as Santa But as for me and Grandpa, we believe! |
