I have opened my gift to discover lots of gifts. There is a beautiful 2 yard piece of yard goods (omage to grandma who never used fabric), a very deep aqua piece that is my favorite shade, a nice deep pink ombré, two sets of 5” precuts, 15 (!) fat quarters, a set of diamond cut rulers, a pattern for a charming fairy house, a bright pink, orange, and yellow ombré flannel, a lovely old time Christmas card, two handmade ornaments, a roll of 1/4” tape to keep seams even, and six clips that I am not sure how to use. Quite a haul. Thank you so much pyffer3, it is like you know me. Happy happy happy!

I received the most beautiful, thoughtful package from Barbara in Maryland! Here's a picture:
She made a beautiful pincushion from batiks, each side with a vintage button at its center. A gorgeous winter theme mug rug -- its peaking out beneath all the goodies! Buttons, rickrack, lace trims, charms -- love the sewing theme and vintage items so much!! Perle cotton, FQs in shades of purple, a pattern to make the microwave bowl hot pads (been wanting to make some of those), a cozy mystery with a quilt theme, goodies galore -- Goldfish crackers, Payday and Godiva candy bars! The pins with the heads that don't melt under your iron -- been wanting those! Santa tissues, a huge bottle for water -- handy to keep in the craft room since it won't spill out. And... everything was wrapped and packed in the prettiest storage box. Thank you, Barbara, I couldn't have wished for a nicer Secret Santa package! |

TEXAS TAM...I hope you enjoy opening your package as much as I did. I love absolutely everything. Thank you for the microwave bowl (1st thing out) and I have a bowl to fit it! Fabric, love it all, my favourite colours and batiks too , then the templates! I've not made a tumbler or a drunkards path before, so new challengers for me and the fabric to make them! Next came the tea towel and embroidery designs to put on it and sew. When finished that will be hung and used in my camper and at the bottom of the package, a clutch bag full of sewing bits & bobs....and a collapsible scrap holder, funnily enough, from the "Gypsy Quilter". In my street, I have the nickname "the Gypsy" because I'm never home!...a weekend camper, so Tammy I just love everything and thank you so much. Have a wonderful Christmas, and God bless you. I took a photo on my I pad, so will post that next.
