I love dates and they sound so good, but that chocolate pie is calling my name big time! Have to make that for Thanksgiving so I won't eat the whole thing all by myself!

You need to please come over and help me with my brittle....you "love" the way it bubbles up -- I burned myself on it once years ago...and when i make it every Christmas i'm just 2 deep breaths away from hyperventilating !!!

I have to laugh, have done the same thing. Thought my pot was big enough until I added that soda. What a surprise the first time it happened! Actually scared the ---- out of me. I was hyperventilating, trust me:)

OMG! All the recipes sound wonderful, indeed! I can just lick my lips and eat the virtual goodies. PenniF, you should try to pass down your Grams recipe and may those you love think of You and your Gram when they make your Chocolate Pie! My Granny made us coffee and served it in the little golden glass cups that you got out of the Quaker Oats box. My eyes well up every time I see those golden cups! Beautiful and heartwarming memories are hard to come by..cherish them dearly!

Off my soap box and back into the hole with Neesie....she feeds me! LOL!

Does scare the ---- out of you the first time. My husband helps with that part now.
