OMG that is so funny. So many of DD friends are getting married and they all register, something that was not done in my day. We were talking about it and she said this is BS how could anyone be surprised with a gift if people picked out twhat they want and you just have to go buy it. What fun is that for the giver? I said I don't think that is fun at all I like giving something they would like but I like picking things out myself. I then asked her "if you get married are you going to register?" Without skipping a beat she said yes at Citizens Bank, they could do a cash transfer.

Ok, this weekend I will be working on getting the names out to those that will be sending to Canada and overseas and vice versa. IT WILL ONLY BE FOR THOSE ONLY.
Those that are ONLY sending to the US will be sent out later after I close the sign ups

I'm so excited I got the box I'll be mailing my gift in and I'm making two things that should be finished this week. Then I'm holding off on purchasing until I know my partners name and likes

Silly, silly Patty she is SOOOOOOO busy being naughty Santa took her name off the list. She probably didn't look at the list she was too busy searching for frogs and turtles and whatever else lives in the pond to send to some innocent NICE person as a MEAN pressie.

I've been eyeballing this thread for weeks. I guess I'll join ;)

I received my first Christmas present for 2010. I know it is not Christmas but my daughter graduated from college to day with her BBA degree. I have waited 45.5 years for this and she did it with Suma Cum Laude or a 3.99GPA I am so proud of her.
Waiting to hear who I will be secret santa to.....

As I said earlier I know I am on the nice list because Santa could not wait and sent my gift almost 2 months early, and I am still counting on a NICE gift from someone here. Please, pretty please with Splenda.

I just read a story about favorite toy/book...what was your favorite toy or book as a child? Mine was a ballerina doll.

Phobe she was a monkey. I know I had her when I was 3 but I don't how old I was when I got her. One day she got wet, I don't know how, probably my brother did it. She was put on the furnace to dry and her head got burned. She had a hole in the back of her head. I kept her on my bed until I got married then she came along with me and stayed in a box. I don't know why but the smell of smoke never left her. Mom didn't sew so she was never repaired. I still have her buried away someplace.

What about the folks in the US who will be sending to folks who are overseas? They will probably need to send early as well. By the way....thanks again for doing this!! :D

If you stated that you could send outside of US, then you might or might not have your person already.
You can check at the Group Activity Section to make sure.

Also, if you are lurking and are outside the US, YES, you can still sign up. I have more people who have stated they can ship international, so no worries.

If you already have the name of the person you are sending to, you can go ahead, but I'm going to give you a warning....
The person you are sending to just MIGHT figure out it is you since you are saying you are wanting to send now. Hmmm...don't want that to happen, do you? ;)

I should have the names out this coming weekend (16th/17th) since hubby will not be home. It will just be making sure that all names are in the EXCEL program and hitting SORT to jumble up the names and then get them out to everyone.

I think you can send it whenever you like it just have to be before I can't remember the date. HOWEVER................since you have now stated the fact that you WANT to send it if someone gets a pressie SOON they have to know it was you. I never announce that I am sending a pressie because I don't want my person to get it and calculate the time and think it could be me.

But, if you have your name now, you could send it, but then again, you can wait until closer to the deadline. All depends on where you are sending it to. Overseas can take about 10 days at the max whereas Canada can take ANYTIME. Don't know why that is.
Those with International people were given theirs a bit early so they can get the shopping done and get it into the mail earlier.
So, if you want to mail it on Tuesday, no one says you cannot since you have your name already.
