Heres the doll quilt I sent to quilting131 in Alaska...she has sick children and hasn't been able to get in much. I know I hadn't seen her and wondered. Getting ready to do October Now :)

Okay - there have been some fantastic new quilts posted. I love em - Amma and Linda are pretty talented quilters, wouldn't you say??? Wow, nice job ladies!!! :P

Even though there is not a speck of natural light yet (it's only 5:50 am here), I took photos of K3N's lovely quilt because I can't stand not having it posted any longer!! I hope these photos do it justice. In addition to the cognac, which my husband stole and I had to hunt down this am to find it, she sent almond cookies (in my office) and a package of candies for the kids. I lost track of those two days ago... :lol: :lol:

Anyway, Kathryn was so cool - she combined the chicken (I'm hosting the swap... :D ) and OBW blocks that I adore. What a cool combo it made. And the entire thing was hand-quilted and the label was hand-embroidered. Way to go Kathryn!

BTW Kathryn - was that needle turn applique?
