LOOK, LOOK, LOOK! What I received from BuzzinBumble! The most beautiful doll quilt ever! I don't know how she got those Queen Ann's Lace flowers and fern leaves to pop off the quilt like that but it is exquisite! The gentle shading of the background and the fabrics used for the flower blooms shows what an excellent eye for color Lara has! I tried to show the detail of the blooms in the close up shot. So beautiful and I feel very honored to have received this lovely quilt. Then to top it off, she sent the lovely gifts in the last photo. I just adore the pin cushion and how did she know I am also a lover of cross stitch! All of this was sent with a touching note in this card. I forgot to take a photo of the label on the back, it has a wonderful poem by a French novelist! Thank you Lara, you are the best! Love ya! |

ljdugas31 has received my little quilt and so I will post a couple of photos of it for her. The quilt is a snapshot of the town where I live, its one main street, our centrepiece at the top of the street is the town clock which is the war memorial and I also included a photo of me sitting amongst a field of tulips which was taken last year. Oh and a Tassie devil. I am glad she liked it.

My DQ will be mailed in the next day or two to newbee3. The one she sent me is black red and blue done in an Amish pattern. I love it. Thanks. looking forward to August !!!!!!
