Cogito and I also swapped little quilts this month in black/white/red color combination. My little package arrived today and I am in awe of the gorgeous quilt Cogito made for me showing the 'windmills' of Iowa and balloons representing the balloon festivals held there. I had to hold it away so I wouldn't drool too much on the fabrics she used LOL

And then I turned it over and started drooling again at the musical fabric and her 'self portrait' - Nurse InCOGnITO :)

And then I started drooling again as she had included oh so many beautiful red/white and black/white fabrics for me....no more sewing for me this afternoon I will be spending the arvo gazing lovingly at my little quilt and 'patting' my fabrics.

So here is photos for you to 'drool' over too..... Cogito you are a wonderful swap partner. Let's do this again soon !!!

So glad you like your black/white/red quilt Lyn! For those of you out there that don't know, Iowa is 3rd in the nation for wind energy production so those "windmills are actually known as wind turbines. :)
I thought the back of the quilt was a perfect representation of me since I am a piano player and lover/collector of many musical instruments....don't ask how many! :D But the best was....my self-portrait! I am a nurse and since many of you call me COGNITO vs COGITO (sorta rhymes with Mosquito, but with emphasis on the "Mo") I thought it would be perfect to be....INCOGNITO! :D So I am Incognito Cogito!. Oh and btw, I did work as a surgical nurse before going into a leadership position.

Cogito, the quilt from Lara is a wonderful piece of art. I am drooling.:) The one you made Lynnie25 is also awesome!:thumbup:

ALL of the quilts shown are amazing! Lots of creative thought went into them! Wow, it was fun to look at what everyone made. Great show!

Mine for BertieD just went in the PO!! I hope you like it!! Just went in to post a sneak peak and find that I didn't take a picture. I hope you will send me a couple for my portfolio. I spent the day finishing up a bunch of stuff and taking pictures so I could mail, got pics of the other projects, and missed this one. Stupid stupid stupid!! LOL
