We plan to meet in October when we travel south. this will make a very pleasant meet up! I have several patterns picked out, and did make samples of each square so far. now the decision of what ones to use.... oh, and by the way, mine will NOT be in the mail this next week, WOW, some of you gals are really on the ball,,,, and so far, as usual, they are all so lovely. happy sewing...... treat yourselves well, rejoice, warm weather is here in Michigan, FINALLY!!

take out that Sombra Gel, get a good rub down, put the heating pad on it to relax the made nerves and muscles form anything the structure part is doing, then after a good night sleep, you will be able to KO that back pain for sure. (I do this nearly every day) If that does not work, schedule the chiro, massage, and accupuncture people and then they should be able to put the rest into place so you can move forward. i do this part when it hits extreme. Trust me, this will help. I have two herniated discs and the insurance won't pay for surgery so I bandaid this way. When all else fails, I got to the nerve specialist and he kills it so can function for a longer period of time. I am so OCD on quilting, that I just won't let the pain win.

I have both of my DQs cut out and ready to sew but the Bernina is busy doing embroidery for a swap, sold my extra machine to pay med bill, and down to grandmas old Singer and the foot pedal has died. I have many things to get sewing on and no machine to do it with. Been quilting on longarm and changing thread for designs. I so hope I get caught up this weekend on my swaps, I do not like missing deadlines and want to be ahead on this one since I am doing two. I dug out an old UFO to make for this month DQ. I am surprised I cut so much up. Not sure what I was thinking, then to put a pastel with it, after 12 years, glad I learned who I am when it comes to quilting colors, get out those bold colors. Went to quilt shop, found a nice deep purple to put with the fabric and then frame in a pretty green, flower colors of course like my irises which are blooming right now in the deep purple and green. My partners will love them.
