Lavendar girl: I hadn't thought of that kind of butterfly! You are so smart - and it is beautiful. DeeCee: Have no fear! I have done 3 unsuccessful blocks, but last night I finally came up with one I think you will like. Fingers crossed, should be in the mail on Monday.
I'm sure your idea of Americana is wonderful. I had to laugh at myself though...When I chose the theme, I had forgotten about this being an international group. So...I will have Americana from lots of wonderful perspectives. It will be great!

Gwyn - It was Nancy who made the butterfly... she did such an awesome job that I'd love to take credit, but I can't. I'm just happy it's living with ME now!

Sulabug: I just got your block designed. It may be a few days before my materials come in, but it shouldn't take for than 2-3 days after that. Let's see, it is the 12th, that gives me 18-19 days. Better get going on it...

Got this in the mail yesterday from Moosegirl. Did she outdo herself or what?????? Needless to say, I love it!
Forgot to say that the basket and leaves are HAND appliqued on and the flowers are made from yo-yos!
