Just an idea- let me know what you think. Everyone is busy, but a 6 inch block wouldn't be too much additional work. (Just the cost of a stamp.)

Of course I won't be in the drawing. (Shucks!!) Just to be fair...

    Could be fun..

Of course it could be optional, if you don't send a block, you can't win. However, it would be fun to get enough blocks to make yourself a mini quilt. (ie, we would need more than 3 participants to make it worth while.)

Ok, brainstorming AND typing.. I'll await feedback before getting too carried away.
Sounds like fun. I'll cut a 6 inch block.. :D

It would be a pieced 6 inch block, not a 6 inch square of fabric, just to clarify. I will post a mass pm tomorrow, when I work on assigning partners. Those who want to will be part of the drawing, so busy people won't feel pressured. Nifty. Glad I got some positive responses. This will be fun.

I would love to do that too. I would really like to see everyone's creativity in this so could I suggest the only guidline be that it is 6" pieced block? We could let our imaginations run wild and a try to impress one another with it!

Sounds like great fun! And I happen to have a whole book full of 6" blocks!

If it goes well, will/can we do it again?

I have two swap partners already! You're all so gracious and welcoming. As soon as my munchkin goes to bed, I get to go play and see what I can come up with!

Awww, gee, I don't want to be the one to rock the boat but I joined this block a month group with the express purpose of getting enough 12" blocks to make a quilt. I feel so selfish in saying that I'm definitely not for making a 6" block.....
