are you pressing your seams each time time and using Magic Sizing? Cut pieces slightly larger after sewing and pressing each section trim before assembling the full block. Moosegirl

Another trick that can be used, depending on the amount too small - put a small coordinating border around the block, or set it like an attic window. It can be part of the block.

Ok, I made two blocks using fabric I had on hand. The first block was a trial run and it was 'ok" the 2nd block I used the same fabric for the sky but a different fabric for the water.. finished block... looks sq. bottom measures 12.5" top measures 11 3/4" I put my squar on it...measures sq...what's goingon???? have I lost it????
